It's always there when you need it

Bought it for home use and it works beautifully in wireless configuration. Pleasantly surprised as it is small enough to be unobtrusive and yet accomplishes its mission.

Many Nice Functions

I have enjoyed using the product because it is easy & simple.
The quality of the output is very good.
I'm wireless which, tho', is little slow at times,
does get the job done.

All-in-One doesn't scan

It does everything as advertised except scan. Judging from various chat rooms and internet questions, many other users have the same problem with Brother scanners. I finally gave up and bought a scanner from a different maker which works fine.

For the short time I've had the printer, it appears to be working fine.
I do have a concern that there is only one paper tray, which holds a limited amount of paper, and I'm having a problem printing remotely.
I also went on the Brother web-site to order ink, and system would not allow me to connect.

Excellent Value

This is my second Brother printer (other is a black and white laser printer). This unit is very easy to use and does a great job, especially for the money. I mostly use it for scanning and printing school reports.

I haven't had the printer for very long, but it sure has some great features -- it's quick to respond, hasn't had any problems so far (had it a few months now), love the wireless capability, LOVE the duplex capability (especially since I used to spend SO much time manually duplexing pages!) Plus it was a great price!

80% good; 20% irritating

Many of the features in my new MFC-J825DW are good. For example, ink saver obviously reduces ink use. Automatic duplex is a feature I've wanted in a printer for a long time and it works well.
What bugs me most is its inability to print return addresses on envelopes. According to tech support, I must invest in Microsoft Word to do so because none of the programs on my computer are compatible enough with the printer to accommodate this simple task. Still not sure why.
Bottom line: if someone wants a good, general printer, this is one to consider among many others. If, on the other hand, you do a lot of mailed correspondence, find one friendlier for printing envelopes.

Still a little hesitant!

I did not have good luck with a previous Brother that faltered in less then a year (6 months). So far it is working well. Not happy with the depth of color like my previous Brothers. Haven't used the top feeder or picture printing attachment yet.

I'm so glad I bought this product. Print's well clear sharp fast. The ink it came with last long even though it was a start up kit. I'm still using the the the kit it came with it after 3 months. I print alot for school and work.
