I've owned my MFC-9560CDW for about three months. The Favorable things I have to say. 1. Its a good duplex scanner. 2. Great Color Laser pictures are crisp and clean. 3. Good monochrome printing. The negative thing and why I gave it such a bad rating. 1. I'm on my 4th Black Toner cartridge in 3 months. 1 - starter cartage printed about 500 pages, 1 - TN315 Tone cartridge printed about 2000 pages, suppose to print 7000 pages, not even close, and 2 - TN310 Black Toner cartridges. the 1st only printed 400 doublesided pages, I am now on the second. Note I had a Brother monochrome printer before the toner cartridge would print about 6000 pages lasted me 6 Months or better for the same amount of printing. 2. Called tech support about the above issue. They had me look at some of printer parameters. One of them was the amount page printed on the Toner cartrige used before. Would be nice to know but you have to press the magic sequece of keys to get there and only they know the keys absolutly no info manual on the equipment unless you call them I guess thats where all the money they make on the cartridges goes tp pay their support rather then write manuals for people to find out themselves. 3. Looked up reveiws on the toner cartidge other people are having the same problem Toner cartridge have toner left in them. At least on one Brother Support told them how to disable the function that doesn't allow the printer to print when it thinks its out of toner. 4. Brother wanted me to write this reveiw since they would not tell me how to disable this function like the guy in the one reveiw.

We have had this printer for a year now. It has been excellent! Scanner is very fast, Toner life is real good. Setup for the wireless network was easy and has been reliable.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one for the business if I needed one.

I must admit I did read a few reviews that were critical of the Brother MFC-9560CDW All-in-One printer and was a little skeptical about buying this printer. It does everything as advertised and I am extremely please with this product. Before this purchase I had a colored inkjet All-in One printer and a laser printer for my black and white copies.
I would not have known about this product if it were not for my computer technician who recommended I buy it.

Excellent product

I have been using this printer for about a month on my home network (4 PC's, 1 mac, and an Ipad). We print about 500 pages a month between my wife and I and two teenage students. The printer is very fast. Output is excellent although photographic color is a little on the dark side (but that could probably be adjusted if I played with the settings). I've printed onto labels and thicker card stock with no feeding problems. The scan feature is great although requires 2 trips to scanner when used with the mac. I am not using the fax features so I can't comment on them. A couple recommendations - 1. turn the default preferences to B/W vs color to save the color toner (I believe it might use the color toner even on black text if not set this way). 2. Although I have not had any issues with this printer, my past experience with brother lasers would steer me away from using in high volume applications as I've had issues with jamming with Brother lasers on large print jobs linked to heat buildup.

Excellent printer

I have had this printer for several months. The only problem I had was getting documents scanned in to my computer for emailing to clients. I finally figured that out and now I am totally satisfied. I have read about the curling of the paper and that sometimes is a problem as is the envelopes curling when they come through the printing process. My favorite function is the automatic duplex printing which is hard to find on other high priced printers. Love this printer.

Great Machine and Great Value!
Date:February 19, 2011

I really like this machine a lot. I purchased from Costco online in early January. This replaces an older HP color laserjet all-in-one machine.
Pros: Not only does this machine print duplex automatically, it SCANS duplex automatically too!!! I didn't even realize that until I used the machine. Print speeds are really fast and it's a lot quieter than competing products. The web interface is great - you can change every setting via your browser and even have the machine e-mail you reports on a regular basis! Their integrated Control Center 4 software is great. It really makes scanning and sending attachments via e-mail so quick and easy - much better than the competition's products I've used in the past and it isn't bloatware!
Cons: Not much really. I don't like that fact that the time doesn't display in AM/PM - just uses the 24 hour clock. Also, the machine defaults to fax mode so when I make a copy, I have to remember to hit the copy mode (big button), before pressing the start button. Also - when I need to cancel a fax and I press the big cancel button - that's just not good enough. I then have to confirm via the LCD panel to cancel. Not big cons at all - just listing them.
Overall this is a fantastic machine and love the technology that Brother has put together. I never used Brother products (except for the P-Touch) prior to a year ago. I'm now a convert! I have three Brother laser printer and all-in-one products and they are great! Toner is less expensive since you aren't paying for a new drum at the same time. So it's not perfect - is any machine perfect? But overall - best bang and function for the buck!

Problems with printing on card stock
Date:February 6, 2013
By Sparky
from Ball Ground, GA
We purchased this color laser all in one for our small business. Mainly to print our menu's on card stock. The first batch we printed worked fine and ever since we get "out of paper" after each menu prints. There is paper in the paper tray it just seems to jam. We have the setting on "thick paper" because there isn't a card stock setting on this printer. I've not been able to print in duplex mode.
When the printer prints it is great quality and on normal paper we don't have issues. But it sure makes it hard to keep menus in our poboy shop.
This is a great all in-one-device. Fax - OK, Scan - great, copy - great, print great, EXCEPT for printing color pictures. This printer cannot print an exceptable color picture. I have worked with support and up to Level 5 support, but they cannot get it to a point where the picture quality is accptable. I am comparing it to an HP color laser print, and it falls way short.
The printer is built well and the comparative cost of toner is very good - one of the lowest price for cost per page of any color laser I have found.
this would be an unconditional recommendation if it were not for the picture printing issue. Unfortunately, I am going to return it because of this problem.

I purchased the Brother all in one after my HP all in one finally gave up the ghost after 8 years of mostly great performance. I looked at the MFC-9560CDW (It is the first Brother product that I haw owned) because it offered more features that the HP model for about 2/3ers the price. The other nit I have with HP is they stop supporting the printer software after about 2 years and they want you to purchase a new machine.
Back to the MFC-9560CDW. It seems to work great. Quite, much less mechanical than the HP. Easy to use. Once I got the software and network settings dialed in. The FAX function can actually answer my phone, even with the answering machine on.

Solid Performer

After searching for about six months looking for a color laser printer with duplex and wireless capability, we found this gem. We have had it for 7 months now and it fully supports all of our home based business needs. We have yet to have a single issue, not even a paper jam yet. We print about 200 pages a week. The color quality supports all of our needs. Speed is not our highest need, but this printer does pretty good on large volume print jobs. The interface took a little getting used to, but once we figured out how to scan to thumb drive, all else fell into place. We love this printer!

Great All in One Color Laser
Date:February 19, 2011

The Brother MFC-9560-CDW lives up to its billing. I replaced a Dell 3010 CN color laser that performed admirably in the 4 years that I had it. I have put about 1,000 copies on the Brother printer in less than 2 months. The print quality is better than my old printer and the colors are truer than my old printer. The printer is fast and quiet compared to my Dell. The Brother takes up the same about of space but considering all the features, printer, scanner, fax, two sided copying its has allowed me to retire (2) stand alone single function devices. The auto duplexing feature was one of the major factors that drove me to buy the Brother. This feature saves filing space and money because it reduces your paper consumption. The fax feature, copier and scanner have performed flawlessly. The documentation and set up with my home network was easy. However, you need to spend a minute on the set up for auto duplexing because you have a lot of options to choose from. Great All in One.

Great machine, but...
Date:December 24, 2012

I am unaware of way to check toner levels. It would be nice if copies were ejected a little further out of the machine so you don't have to reach quite so far inside and since the curved side of the paper faces down is sometimes not easy to get hold of the copy. But I like the speed, the scan quality, the duplexing, the output, and the ability to scan to other applications, i.e., fax, file, e-mail, etc. Also, the price was right. Overall a good value.
My MFC-9560CDW does it all. To me the most important feature of the MFC-9560CDW is that it is a network device. Any PC on our local area network can print, copy or FAX with it. I especially like the double-sided color copying and Faxing feature. The MFC-9560CDW is very convenient because it can scan documents directly to my PC as a file or images. The MFC-9560CDW has every feature to handle every need.
The 4-in-1 works fabulously. Scans very quickly, even both sides at the same time. The color print is crisp and bright. Fax to file image saves paper. The only things I would improve: 1) less paper curl (even using the maximum "less paper curl" option is not enough). 2) Larger input tray--if you copy, fax or scan more than 24 sheets, some sheets tend to get pulled through together.

We have been using our 9560 for about a year. We like the speed and we use it to print about 200 pages a day. Its not very good at making color copies. The colors are quite a bit off. We tried the various adjustments, but its still not very good. Certainly this printer is not for photo prints... Other than the quality of the image, it does the job and is a good business machine

I have had my Brother MFC9560 wireless laser printer for about 8 months and have had excellent results from it. It was fairly easy for me to set up, and I'm not much into technology. Prints are bright and clear. I'm still running on the initial demo cartridges, but just bought replacements through Costco. The quality is just so much better than ink jet printers.

Great business tool

MFC-9560CDW enables me to fax and email large files (like tax returns) saving me hours of labor, and costly mailed paperwork. The full color mode prints beautifully, and I love the extra ink capacity which enables fewer trips to buy cartridges. I also have a Brother Laser printer HL-2240 for all my B & W copies. Brother products are super!

This laser printer is fast in color or B&W. The fax and scan functions work seamlessly with my PC. The duplex feature also saves a lot of paper. This machine the best of any of the several Brother printers I have owned. However, the color toner goes fast if one is not selective about when to print in color.
